İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi, metrolarda yolcuların yanlarında büyük boy valiz taşımasını sınırlayan yeni bir uygulamayı hayata geçirdi. Yeni kurala göre, belirlenen kiloyu aşan valizler için ek ücret ödenmesi zorunlu olacak.

Uygulamanın başlamasının ardından metroyu kullanan vatandaşlar tepki gösterdi. Yolcular, özellikle işe veya seyahate gidenlerin bu durumdan olumsuz etkileneceğini belirterek, “Toplu taşımayı kullanırken ekstra ücret ödemek adil değil” yorumunu yaptı.

İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi yetkilileri ise uygulamanın metro içi güvenlik ve konforu artırmayı amaçladığını belirtti. Özellikle yoğun saatlerde vagonlarda yer bulma ve acil durum güvenliği açısından alınan kararın zorunlu olduğunu ifade ettiler.
